Sad  Sorry to hear that you have to sell.  Hopefully it goes to someone who will truly appreciate it.

After all that work you put in you gotta sell? that's bad news. hope you get a good buyer. i'd make sure that you get first dibs on buying it back when it comes to selling it on again!

I know, it's just that Suzanne hasnt been getting the time to ride it as she changed jobs recently and we have so much going on we meet ourselves coming backwards!

I'll be keeping mine though  Smiley

I have no idea what the current exchange rate is and it seems pricing CB-1s is a difficult game since there are few in the States (much less Texas).  I would say you could sell that bike for $2,500 - $3,000 in the US, maybe more because its so SICK!  Shocked

I just went back to see what she sold for and saw all of the stupid questions from your potential buyers.... all i have to say is wow. if that beauty was here, it would have been been a brawl to win it, and you would have fetched a lot of coin for it. it looks fantastic. if i lived anywhere close and wasnt broke, and didnt have three and half bikes and 4 mountain bikes, and a boat, and was divorced I would buy it.

It's a nice looking bike, but I think you will have a hard time seeing £1200 for it. I think a realistic price is £850, which really puts it at the very top end of what a 400 can be worth. The price boom was when I bought my first one, about 1999-2001 when they were seeing anything up to £2.5k for a nice nc30. Now, not so much.

Still, best of luck with your sale, and the bike does look nice Smiley

Thanks for that and you may be right. The bike stands us at more than that so it would be nice to at least get a decent amount for it. Been offered £1000 for it from a serious buyer but will hold out for the £1195 or keep it until she has more time to ride.

You can get a standard looked after non crashed -1 here for 1500 euro, that's the normal asking price and that's with no mods or extra TLC 1000 pounds seem to me to be ripping yourself off.

You all do realise that a modified bike is worth less than a good standard bike to eveyone except the person that did the mods, right?

I sold mine 2 years back for £600 and although it was shabby bodywise, it was a good bike and the mods were pretty cool. But it was not worth even as much as a good standard bike, because it was messed about with.

If you want to sell it £1k is a good price. If you want to keep it, then keep it.
