Howdy-

I have an excellent condition CB-1 gas tank for sale.  Description:  Blue(factory) w/ red decals.  Had in storage for a few years packed in plastic/cardboard.  Paint still shines in the sun!  Not a touch of rust inside or out.  Truly in amazing shape.

Bought two a few years back for my CB-1 race bike and willing to part w/ one.  I'll post pics ASAP.

$300.00 - e-mail me for a quick response and high resolution pics:  motogpman2@msn.com

Did you ever race against a guy named Henry Wang?  He also raced a CB-1 that was well sorted.

I do remember Henry Wang...  We raced against each other quite a bit.

Cool.  He seemed to be a pretty good guy.  I knew him from his website Honda CB-1 dot com.  For whatever reason, his site is no longer accessible.  There was alot of good info on there.  Many of the guys from there are on this site now.  His CB-1 was very well sorted.  If you ever run into him again, tell him I said hello.

I am a total noob - literally just buying my first CB-1 today (1989/blue). Its biggest downside is a few dents in the gas tank, so I was thinking about replacing it. How hard of a job would you say that is? Pretty easy for a beginner, something you'd want to take to a pro mechanic, requires special tools, etc.?
Depending on what you guys think, I might be interested in this tank.
Thanks,
Grin

Very easy to do yourself. A couple of wrenches (spanners for the UK folks Smiley ) and unplug all fuel and vent lines. 5 Minute job. If you have dents you want removed, try talking to an autobody shop, they may be able to knock them out for you.
