Hi
I just got the CB-1 to replace my Triarm which was very comfy, except hips and knees! Initially on the CB-1, I find the seat is a bit too soft and seems to tip forward so might try repadding it in due course. It came with a new MOT yet the rear brake light was not working because of corrosion on the contacts. Quite a cincidence that it was just the same with the Tri-arm 18 months ago, which also had a fresh Mot!
Oil and filter has been done recently but a new rear tyre and chain/sprocket set are needed.
The slow running was lumpy and unreliable at <1500rpm so had a look at the air filter, which was dirty, two of the plastic metal-screen rivets had given way, foam tubes in shreds, and snorkels disconnected. A new filter from Wemoto.com has put things right. (I put the perforated metal tubes back, with some new foam to stop rattling, because they could help to retain the snorkels by supporting the flanges inside). Slow running will now go down to 1000-1200 rpm and there is very little vibration at revs, so I may not bother with rebalancing the carbs yet
In view of the condition of the air filter the servicing was not very good in the past, so it is probably worth replacing the coolant as well.
Speedo reads 35mph at 40 so suppose the sprockets may not be standard but engine and gearbox are quiet and its very nice to ride

Regards
Chris
