Thank you Ritardo, I think it is going to be helping a lot of CB-1 and also other Honda owner.
2 weeks ago, I bought a R/R from RPM in Vars, used from a 2000 600, similar to the original on a CB-1. We will see how long it last.
But I will try your set up if it fails and definitively do it during next winter even if it does not fail. I am sure I will find a buyer for the one I just purchased. Smiley

Wow! this is very helpful!

Does the Regulator/Rectifier have something to do with the idling of the CB1 or the like? A good friend mentioned that my bikes idling is affected by the voltage that the RR is giving thus affecting the stable/synchroed carbs performance.

Im now searching for an R/R with FH prefix to ensure it'll last longer than other replacement.

thanks,

dhan

I'm not sure it's the same in The States, (should be), but here you can pick up a used reg/rec for about £10 easily enough, even less. Find someone who's breaking a bike that uses the same unit - VFR750 for example and just ask them how much for the rectifier. Simple as that. Just make sure it's the "finned" type. A lot of people aren't aware of their value and when breaking a bike concemtrate on the more obvious sellers - bodywork, clocks, exhaust, etc.
