My right mirror got scratched in a meeting with the garage brick wall. I am looking for a replacement in order to keep the bike pristine. Either a right hand perfect black one as it came with or a pair of Japanese spec chrome ones. I am not interested in changing to aftermarket, just want to keep the originals.

Do you have a photo of the Black one? What ever you do, don't be tempted by the pattern chrome ones - they look ok but rust up in no time Angry

I am putting on mirrors from a KTM Duke 690R, they look great, and more or less like the stock ones, just nicer

Drewski: As soon as I get my camera back from on loan I will post up a pic but I am pretty sure that they look exactly like the chrome Japanese market ones but just painted black.

xstreamcanadian: Do you have any pics of the KTM ones or a link to a pic?

http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/ktm/ktm_990_super_duke_r%2007.htm

the thing is you will be sorry you asked, once you lay eyes on the duke, you will want one! this picture gives you an idea of how they sit and look. I can follow up with you once I go by the dealer as to price etc.

by the way. I loved the battlestar gallatica series when I was a kid, so that may explain why i drool over this design
http://www.bikebandit.com/2009-ktm-motorcycle-690-duke-blk/o/m19169 they appear to be around 80 bucks with the support dilio
