Hi, I have just purch
ased a 1989 CB-1 with fuel injection. So far I haven't been able to find out anything about the injected model. Any information would be gratefully received. Ron.

Congrats on getting a CB-1. To my knowledge, there were no CB-1s made with fuel injection, here in the US or Japan. IF yours has injection, then its a custom mod. Do you have any pics that you can post up, of whats underneath your airbox, which is underneath the gas tank? How do you know it has fuel injection? Did the guy selling the bike to you, say that it did? Did you reply to an ad about the bike stating that it had fuel injection?

Err, what they said. The first honda bike with fuel injection was (probably?) the CBR900RRY or 929 for our US cousins, and that was available first in 2000-1. The only way I could imagine fitting Fi to a CB-1 is using the injectors from a very late model CB400F super four. If you own a bike with that conversion, it's been done at home and is quite special. I'd be interested to see how it looks and hear about how it rides, what power it makes, and what the fuel usage is like.
