Welcome Smiley  Just a few questions for you.
Did you recently purchase that exhaust?
If so, how much was it?
Was it on the bike when you bought the bike?
If your CB-1 had the stock exhaust on it, can you report any difference in power?

when i got the bike it had a carbon fiber look paint job on the front fender and red with black rear fender which really looked ugly, so i decided to paint the front and rear fenders flat black. if i painted it red, i was worried it might not match the tank. the tank still has the original paint and decals which are still in very good condition, also why i did not opt to respray the whole bike. the bike is an import from japan, a bit more bhp than the us market cb-1

I like the flat black and would consider doing it to mine.

uh Falk, the list is like this, red is fastest, then if you like in the UK, British racing green, but here in NA, flat black, then yellow, blue green is the slowest.

Not about exhaust, I got Kerker on mine and still waiting for the stock from the original owner.

Kabayan, how is the parts and bike availability of CB-1 back home?
I wish to get one this winter.

All us red cb-1ers should break off and start our own forum we could call it; "thefastestofthe-1's.com". who's with me? Cheesy

blue green is the slowest.

But by far the better handling due the fact that the wave length of the blue is longer and greatly assists in preventing the bike from falling over. The red light wavelength is so short that it simply makes the bike unstable. Roll Eyes

Blue CB-1's are so popular and good handling that a song was written for them. Blue by you.
