My local Honda dealer went under and the nearest is 1hr away, i ask Canadian tire if they had an oil filter and they did, 6017 FRAM but when I looked it up its for a CB400F supersport? It should work just the same I hope?? anybody have any issues with a different filter??

My 2 cents worth, stick with stock oil filters. The OEM's are pretty anal about getting that part right.
I've heard some horror stories about aftermarket filters and just wouldn't take the chance on an engine that spins up to almost 14,000 rpm.
As far as the dealer being an hour away, next time you go pick up two or three, or go to Ron Ayers and buy one or two online and have them shipped.

Never used OEM filter so I cant tell if there is a difference

Yes i agree not exactly the same but that's just a matter of puttin in a cheaper chain rather than gears, i was going to replace my brothers chain with a set of gears i puled outda my old one but i took money for them instead,  Grin
