I may be buying a Ducati 748 today. If I do, I will be unloading all my CB-1 project. I would like to sellit all at once, but if that does not happen, I may then part it all out.

I am aasking $5500.00 for everything. You are not just getting a CB-1, but a whole lot of other parts.

I also may be getting a new set of wheels, a VFR 800.
Got a friend checking it out for me today as it's a long way away. Looks good in the pics but i need the documents checked.
There's a lot of dodgy bikes around here in the land of fakes/copies!!

We shall see...

I decided against buying the 748. I was all excited about getting it, but when it came time to pay for it it just did nto seem right. After walking away, I felt good about the decision and am all fired up invigorated about my CB-1 rebuild project. I have some new ideas for it and feel I need to pull the stops out and build it the way I want to without cutting corners.

So I guess I am saying that I will not be selling any of my CB-1 off.

Yes, lots of major changes.

- New swing arm (CBR400RR Gull Arm)
- CBR929RR forks and thinking of going with Ohlins forks
- Penske rear shock
- New exhaust system. I bought a Yoshimura full Ti system from a CB400SF.
- Keihin 32mm FCR flat slides with velocity stacks
- CBR400RR cams
- Magnesium wheels
- Complete motor rebuild, race ported head
- new paint and lots of polished parts

I'll be having my axles made from Ti and all the external bolts will be Ti (I have most of them already). I will have my clipons custom made. I want them to match the Honda CBR400RR stock bars, btu I want them made from aluminum. I already modified the top trile tree to be able to bolt the clock bracket to. I hade the frame motor mounts gusseted to keep them from fatigue cracking. Every seal and bearing will be replaced with new ones and I will change the steering head bearings from ball to roller. I have many other things that I will do as well. When i can get settled again and be able to work on the bike, I will be putting up a web site with detailed information and photos.

Nope, no budget. I just get it done when I can.

No, I do not have another bike to ride. Gives me a good reason to get this one done  Smiley.
