Been looking about the site for a while, have found out some useful stuff..

This is my bike as I bought it earlier this year, been riding it about over the summer but not had a chance to go for a proper ride just riding about and to work so far..

Got some plans for the bike but we'll see, seen some that have been stripped down to nothing and rebuilt, powder coated frames and full resto.. would love to get mine looking like that!

My friend fully serviced all the mechanical parts so they are all working real good just need to work on it cosmetically!!

Take it for a nice long spin befor you strip her down to do a restoration if you've only been tootin onto work and around town you have't had the chance to throw her around the B-roads and that's where the full enjoyment of the cb-1 comes from!

Welcome to the site! Nice looking ride you have there! Definitely take it for a few real good rips before you start any projects on it, it will help give you the motivation to get it back on the road quickly  Grin

Hm you don't seem to realise how paint affects your horse power! no i like the black, my first one was a gloss black looked seriously nice and was a beast to ride in the night, i had competely black leathers and black lid, was a beast when it was dark, all you'd see was my headlight followed by a black shadow

I agree with Drew the red is such a sweet colour so long as you keep it clean and unfaded you'll be turning heads where ever you go

Know what you mean.. it has started to fade and I don't like to repaint things the same as they were before gives me a chance to make it look different..

always loved matt black, want to strip the bike and do the frame and engine to but not as straight forwards as taking of the tank and plastics..

If you can afford it, get the frame powder coated, it will be a lot more durable then a regular paint job.
