IM THE GUY NTHAT DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE ...
i got this cb-1 out of a container here in the alutians and i worked a bit on it and i decided to get new sparks plugs okay fine the spark plugs came in the mail and i got them in nthe moto and it ran started fine but i saw the wires next to the voltage inverter hot smoking and shut off the cb-1 and well i tryed again and fine i went for a tes ride okay, the voltage regulator was hor but okay i guess so i was with my land lord and decide to go to get the fairing at another location and as i came back the cb-1 was off and it did not start again so i waited i got a service manual and i found no help there so i been shuffling the spark olugs around but r3eally no have any look yet do you know how the  spark plugs wires go onte cilinder head (like 41320 or 1432
please i need my motorcycle to get around this island there is no mechanics here so is me aginst the machine...thank you messiah 14

Sounds like you need a service manual. PM me I have a pdf of it somewhere. I wont be much help on the electrical stuff cause I'm a mechanical type person.

you should check that your voltage regulator has been replaced as old type was known to cause problems ,aparently the new type has cooling fins and old type not.located under seat I think. i'm sure someone else has covered this? Huh Huh Huh

definitely get a new rectifier,  I just had mine go and it took out the Stator as well.  so in the last month I have basically replaced my entire electrical charging system.

great i hope the stator is ok .imordering parts new spark plugs and a pulse gen set ,also im going to buy a batt and i will try it again/now imwondering in what gear is best to push strt it .. and i hope to get away with the stator as is now i know how the spark plugs units go i have a manual i got new coils last time i tryed to get it going i did the spark plug test it was okay and also cleaned the carb got fuel passing and also i have fixed the alternator wires beafore the vol reg that by the way is new now im waiting for the parts to arrive today im going to tape the wire harness again . im hope i dind't get it out of timming  http://
