Hi Guys,
because  we have here a lot of People from different Countries I hope to find some informations and advices for building my own Surfboard.

I was doing skimming a long time ago and now my daughter gets older (4 Year) I want to share a Hobby with here (riding the motobike is to dangerous). She likes the Sea and Waves and so i thouhgt Surfin is may a good Idea.
Yeah and because there are no reall Boards for Kids in our Area available and I like to build things - I want to make 2 Boards on kmy own (one for me - one for my Daughter)

I found some Information at the Internet - also some Data and Webpages.

But I didn't found a Plan - only a Webpage where someone bought a Plan from US and builded the Board.
http://www.livio.ch/?page_id=52

I like Woodies - the Style is something special not like the Plastic Things where every one is like the same.

With a Plane like in the Webpage the building would be of course easier ore if someone has some advices like:
-Take this type of Wood
- You need to make the Board 1/2" thick for every 25kg of Bodymass
-Nose Rocker 5" high and 2" long
etc

this would be very helpfull... - Best would be a Plan also a German one can understand  Wink .

I'm sorry. The only board that I can help you with is a snow board. Grin

Ich bin von Buehl/Baden und mein Opa war ein Falk, von Buehlertal.

just watched this movies.... Just can say BOOOOAAAAAAAHHHH  Shocked .  I mean the Big Wave Riders have Balls...

But hey, the Girls in "Step into the Liquid" they do it right - it's all about fun....

Short update to the Board for my Daughter

More and big Pictures here:

http://www.acast.de/blog/pivot/entry.php?id=17

At the weekend I want to build Tail and Nose and then sand it, sand it sand it. Next week I want to build the bottom and then fiber the whole board.

Ahh yeah - I designed a little Logo for it - I mean you never know what comes. If I'm bored of my Job, I may start to build water sport equipment. I allready have Plan for a Skimboard for me here (another Thing I have to build until End of August.)

Palm and Surfboard should be synonymous for thump and little finger - so aka Shaka-Hang Loose - the Surfer Greeting
