Hi folks,

I've ridden various motorcycles for about 5 years and came across a Honda CB1 for sale in my price range. I've always been a fan of the design and power to weight ratio of the CB1. Just wanted to ask if there are any things specific to the model I should look out/check/listen for, etc. while looking at the bike.

It's an '89 with a little over 20k miles. Owner says the speedo cable sometimes freezes up but other than that it runs/rides/stops fine.

Any clues on landmines to look out for would be very helpful. Thanks much!

I don't have any pics, turns out the bike is 6 hours away and I don't think I'll be able to swing the whole thing. Ah well. Someday.

If you are anywhere near Florida, you might consider the CB-1 I rode yesterday:

Conditions are not right for me to buy this bike, but you might like it a lot.

You can tell us where you are; we don't bite ... well, we DO bite, but probably not you.
