Just bought this recently 1990 35000km one owner for 20 years, 1 for 1 year and now me.
Not used yet apart from drive home. Pouring petrol from left side carb. I am guessing it is float valve / dirt in carb / sunk float so just bought carb repair kits, oil filter, air filter, plugs and sump plug from Wemoto in UK and intend doing full service and change coolant on my return from uk visiting new Grandson. Back in Thailand in a weeks time so got something to do in my retirement.

Approx $1800 probably way over the top but apart from fuel leak seems in pretty good condition and more character than Thai manufactured bikes

Hi ceebee,
nice looking bike there. You are correct, much better than the Thai made bikes here.
Kawa er6-n's are way too common too!!
I had one of these last year, it was great fun to ride. Wemoto are a very good source of spares, fast delivery to Thailand too, about 8 days.
The cost was about right for here. 2nd hand bikes (& cars) are waaaay expensive here.

Enjoy the ride...

cee bee2, looking at the picture of your bike, what is the black bag? on the end of the rear wheel fender, a parachute? I just bought a 89 cb-1 in january, and paid to much, nice bike though. Love the bike, after I got to run correctly. I"m looking for dark blue body parts if you locate any, please let me know.....enjoy!

fjr1300,
Nice '89.  How much did you pay for it?
