Hey there,
I'm Andrew from Germany and I just bought my first bike - a CB-1. I'm pretty happy so far (only need my licence now ;-) )
but this model has a mp/h speedo and since this is my first bike I don't want so "calculate" my speed all the time while I'm riding. So I wanted to ask you guys if anyone of you would like to swap his or her km/h speedo with mine.
BUT: I honestly don't have any clue how to remove or install the speedo so who ever wants to swap should be able to tell me how to do it.
I'm in the German CB-1 forum as well, but you can pm or repost here or the German forum.

PS: Is it possible to change the miles already driven with the bike? Don't know how to explain it in English properly...
Right now I got a little over 21k miles on the speedo - is it possible to screw (or what the word is) the speedo to the same amount in km? And will the km-speedo then show me "real" km on the trip counter? Or will it keep counting in miles and just show me km? EDITH: After reading this again I feel kinda stupid - I don´t want to cheat the counter!! I want to "convert" the miles into kilometers. I hope no one got me wrong and thought I wanted to cheat... Sorry for my English. If a_morty could have a look on this I would be glad.

Thanks in advance

Larnius

Hey Guys , i think you don't mind when i reply to him in german.

Also km Tacho bekommen, Laufleistung einstellen, freuen. Irgendwelche Zahnräder müssen noch getauscht werden. Hier und im dt. Forum gibt es direkt ein Tacho-Tausch-Thema. Schau da mal rein.

MfG
Falk

I have a Mp/h speedo I got from a_morti which hasn't been fitted yet. When I get round to fitting it (hopefully before too long) I'll happily send my K/ph one to you for what I paid for mine (not much) +p&p.
