MKII

Some lucky so-and-so has just bought this. I wonder if they are aware of what they have. I've been looking for one for ages, not only did I miss that, but a CB400R "Aero" also sold this week for £400 GBP. I'm kicking myself.

Note standard shock reservoir under the tail on the L/H side and those lovely high bars.

I saw that yesterday too, looks in pretty good condition for a training school bike. I bet it lives out the rest of its life in obscurity
If you want high bars you can fit the bars from a VFR800, they are pretty similar to what's on the MK11, but I don't think the cables will all reach.

i saw this one aswell about 2 days ago.
and i was thinking WOW!A MKII like mine!that's rare.
only other MKII i have ever seen other than my own.
only this one seems to be 100% original.
i would have been well more interested in the AERO though! i LOVE those!
and ALLWAYS wanted one.though i suspect it wouldn't be suitable for me,same as the VFR 400,
since i'm 6'1'' .

Have you been reading my e-mails Morti
I've got some VFR800 bars sorted but they come with a few other bits.
I've got a couple of other Honda bars with the same fork diameter as the CB-1, I think they're off a VTR250 and a VFR1100.
Like you say, the cables are a problem but Honda should sell the MKII ones.

My dad has a red '98 VFR800. 60+ thousand miles so he paid £1000 for it!

VFR'S ROCK!400,750&800!
allways, allways wanted one but sadly never happened
definately one of Honda's greastest creations!!!
the VFR clip ons aren't quite as high as the MKII ones but a good compromise, still.

This one's done only 26K miles and is a '98. I'm having a look at it at the weekend but it's more or less a done deal. It belongs to a friend so no worries about any hidden problems. Just needs a new generator fitting, (common problem apparantly), but the parts come with the bike.
Can anyone tell what the pipe is? Is it an Akrapovic?
