WHATS UP WITH ALL THE VERY GOOD CONDITIONED 1989 1s THAT HAVE BEEN ACQUIRED OVER THE LAST MONTH OR TWO  Huh Huh Huh

I love it!!  Makes me want to get another 1!   Grin

Whats the story??? Clearly a 1989 US smurf blue model!  How many miles?  How much? (of course thats optional, but we want to make sure you got a good deal on it!  Not that you'll give it back!  lol)   Congrats on your new ride, and just so you know,

ITS NOT JUST A MOTORCYLE, ITS A CB-1!

Welcome Welcome!  And thanks for posting a pic, because you know I was going to ask!  lol

I found it on craigslist, it had 19,000 miles, I picked it up for $1300.00. which was the asking price, the guy wouldnt budge. It had been sitting in his garage for years and was not running, I had the carbs cleaned and replaced the regulator/rectifier and havent stopped riding it since.

Thank you guys, I really enjoy checking out pictures of all the cool cb1's and the technical info has been helpful as well, Thats how I figured out I needed a new R/R. The bike came with brand new dunlop D205 front and rear,150 in back and a 110 in front. I havent been too happy with them and as soon as I wear them out I will be coming here for advice on a good set of replacements.
