Since you lot seem too nervous for swapping speedos with owners in Germany, here is a spare mph speedo I have for sale.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220794974744

I will also sell off eBay, first £20 + post gets it, we may be able to work a deal if you want to sell me your km/h speedo afterwards.

If that's the case, there's no need. I've swapped several with our fellow CB-1 ers in germany and not had any problems. You get a MPH speedo which is much better than either a convertor or a sticky over dial and they get the equivalent inj KMH - everyone's happy. if anyone's a bit nervous about pulling the clocks apart, they're quite easy and I can post  few pics to show how if required.

Morti, I've only just seen this thread. I have a blue converter thingy because I'm often coming home at night and the overlay sticker made it really hard to read. If you've still got it, I'll hapily do an exchange with you. Give me a shout, assuming you'd rather I didn't just bid for it on ebay!

Cheers, Phil.

To be honest mate I am looking to make a few quid out of it. Not much, and it'll all go back into the -1 anyway. Feel free to have a bid, we can work out exchange terms if you win.

No problem, I've put my bid in and we'll see what happens. I'm not too worried about an exchange, I thought you were after a KP/H version yourself but if not it'll just go in the garage with the ever growing collection of spares!

I'd take a kph one as part exchange and keep the circle going by selling it to Germany or Holland...

Fine by me Morti, let the auction run and take it from there.
