1990 CB-1 for sale in Arizona

Hey guys.
To help fund my custom fabrication shop I need to part with one of my favorite bikes, my CB-1.
It has seen better days but it still rides and runs like a champ!!
The PO had dropped it a couple times and there are a couple dents here and there. The gas tank has a couple dents and the exhaust does also. It is also missing the gauge cluster and turn signals, The fork seals are going out but I have the replacements and just haven't had the time to do them. The seat also suffered a couple rips when the AZ heat started this season. The PO told me it had about 15K miles on it and I put on another 1,000 because it was my little weekend rider.
I'm asking $1,800 OBO
Just thought I would put it up for sale where people would appreciate it before going on craigslist.
If anyone is interested please email me @
vince@ctdfab.com
or text (480) 358-5456
thanks guys, ide love for it to go to a good home

Kinda got bored and start chopping it tonight. Guess the sale is off, well, unless anyone wants a professionally fabricated CB-1 Bobber.
Out with the old, in with the new

I kinda like it
I highly doubt that you will ever see another one like it! Truly unique!
Have you ridden it yet? If so, what have people said about it?

Oh there is probably 50+ hours of custom fab need to hit the road again. New subframe, powdercoating, custom stainless 4-2-1 equal length header, custom aluminum exhaust, dirt bars for a more upright riding position for around town, lil carbon, maintenance.
Here is an example of one of my other bikes. Started out as a bone stock Ninja 250, slow, boring, not worth it to mod for speed. Cut, welded, fabbed, created stuff. New subframe, custom recirc oil breather, CB-1 gas tank, dirt bars, shorty muffler, projectors up front.
Start -
Version One
Version Two
Version Three
I'm really excited about the header. Its a chance to take the surface rusted 4-1 OEM header off and improved on the mid and high end powerband. I specialize in exhaust fabrication, turbo, NA, anything in between.
Here is a set of Ferrari F430 race tuned headers i make, its the fun part.

Thanks!
Chicks always ask how I don't fall off the back on the 250 Fighter, haha. That one has a completely transformed ridding position compared to stock. I hope to keep the stock agility of the CB though, while shaving 15-20 lbs off her. Should be comfy, unique, and attention getting maybe.

Keep me posted on the headers/exhaust you make for the CB-1. I could be in the market for purchasing another one. The exhaust I currently have on the bike, was custom made, from a guy who is used to doing hot rods not bikes. They turned out alright. They could have been tighter to the engine underneath though. Where the mid-pipe bends towards the right side of the bike then comes up and around the swing arm, this wasnt as snug and first time on the track with it, I was grinding the pipe
I had to adjust my riding style to make it thru the day. He also put a 2 1/2 inch mid pipe on it. He said that this would give me more torque??? This was like chinese to me because I have no idea about the theory of exhausts systems. He was recommended because he makes great exhaust systems for hot rods and the price was quite inexpensive. At that time, I needed a exhaust system a.s.a.p., and he was my only option...

Looks sick so far. Just don't put a tail-end stuck way up in the air like the others you posted.
