front mudguard
«

Hi,
just wondered whether anyone had a front mudguard, no cracks or pieces missing. Not bothered about light scratches as long as there's no deep gouges as it'll be painted up eventually.
Also, I'm missing the rubber in the side panel, where the back fairing pushes into.
If not, does anyone know of a mudguard from another bike that will fit or where to get the rubber from?
Thanks.

Early CB400SF muddy's fit I believe, should be the NC31 model but you'd recognise it if you saw it.

Thanks for that m8.Pity that they seem to be just as thin on the ground.
I came across a thread on an aussie forum that said the vtr250 had the same mudguard as well.Do you know if thats right? Again though, can't seem to find any of those lol.
thanks.

Yes, VTR250 Mudguards are identical. Are they really that thin on the ground? I've never had to buy one so wouldn't know. If you have no luck whatsoever, I can get one from Japan but, while the mudguard itself will be cheap, post and agent fees would come to about £20 to £30 GBP and it would take a while to get here.

Be aware that's the modern VTR250, not the 80's Spada

Yeah a_morti, that red one is like the one on that aussie forum I came across.
Drewski, how much are they from japan?
I came across one japanese site that wanted 12,000 yen (approx £90 odd quid) for a new one.
I'm not in any real rush so I'll keep my eye on ebay and see what pops up, but I appreciate the offer and if I change my mind I'll give you a shout m8.
Thanks.

I could probably pick one up in reasonable condition, ie; no cracks or any damage, for under 1,000 yen - about £7.50, with the charges mentioned above it would be about £35 total.

You should be able to pick one up for about £10 in the UK, it's just a case of waiting for one to turn up in good condition.
