Must have been a nice bike if it sold that quick!  You'll be back in the game one day for sure.

Any pics of the -1?

Yeah it is a very fine bike. I just got it safetied and the mechanic was drooling over it. Here is the adcopy I had posted.
Very desirable and rare 89' Honda CB-1 (CB400F) It has the same engine as the CBR400. Liquid cooled, six-speed, 13,500 rpm, gear driven cams and tons of fun. It is light and nimble with a low seat height making it a super bike for those in the small sportbike market. To learn more about this very special bike visit.

This bike is like new. Meticulously maintained with Motul semi-synthetic oil. Brake fluid and coolant changed yearly. New Bridgestone BT003 racing/street tires (400km), chain, F&R sprockets, swingarm bearings, F&R wheel bearings, rubber drive cushions. (no problems, just fanatic) Rejetted for better idle, more power. Results of regular dyno testing included.

Includes: Factory toolkit in pouch, owners handbook in pouch, dealers assembly handbook, factory service manual (hardcopy and CD), Honda Common Service Manual (CD). Battery tender always used and included. Many spares accumulated also included. Tailpiece, carb jets, plug wires, mirrors, headlight, signals and more.

Why buy a 125 or 250 when you can have this for the same price. It will cruise all day at much higher speeds than you should be riding. It is good on gas and is awesome in city traffic.

I am not desperate to sell, I just don't get to ride it so please don't lowball. I don't want to waste your time or mine. Call and we can set up a viewing. Leave a message and I will get back ASAP. Call 226-xxx-xxxx

Wow.  Way too mint for sure!!  Incredibly clean.  How did you maintain it so well?   Cheesy

I got it six years ago with 8,000km (5k miles) on it. It was mint then. Regular rides at the back of a sportbike group bouncing off the revlimiter in sixth, numerous trips to the dragstrip on Fri night streetlegal nights, several trackdays, regular dyno pulls at the local bike shops dyno days have all combined to keep it in tip top shape.  Grin

Oh and once in awhile I rubbed a dirty rag over it to clean off the grease, oil and coolant leaks. Tongue

Gee, I hope the new owner doesn't read this! J/K I enjoy keeping my stuff in really good shape. An old habit learned from preparing race cars and karts.

It has been my baby and I am really gonna miss this bike.

Edit: One thing that has made it easy to keep looking nice is the DuPont Teflon Multi-Use Lubricant I use on the chain. It is amazing stuff. I did not clean up the chain, guard or swingarm for the picture and I lube the chain after every ride. It is reasonably priced and highly recommended.

I know how you feel I sold mine as well, but I upgraded to a 02 VFR, but I still miss the CB, but at least I have been in contact with the new owner and he is enjoying it often, so it makes it easier knowing its being used. I only rode it once since getting the VFR so its easier on the heart.
