Hi Folks,

My first post on this forum, hopefully my first of many Smiley

Can anyone tell me what parts from other Honda models and/or other makes will basically either bolt on or require some slight fettling to fit?

Im talking forks, yokes, wheels, calipers, swingarms, shocks etc.....

Cheers!  Wink

Hi,

Just took a look at that thread you recommended and what you've done to the suspension is great and aesthetically looks bang on.

I think the CB-1 should have evolved into something like what you have created but i guess at the time (late 1980's) when it was on the drawing board and with a set budget to stick to, what we saw in a standard model was obviously the dogs knackers back in the day.

This is what i would like to do to mine eventually so if you would'nt mind and have 5 mins spare could you put down a brief list of parts you used and what bike/year they came from please?

It's also nice to see someone fairly local to me with a CB-1.

The last one i saw in Dorset was about 10 years ago at least and came roaring past me with an aftermarket can on - sounded the tits! Cool

Any information I have is in that thread, mostly. If you have any specific questions I will try to rack my brains. How local are you? Fill in your profile, please  Wink
