Recently acquired this from a fellow in Ohio, about 18,000 miles on the clock but in quite good shape.  Fitted new Michelin Pilots, chain, EBC HH pads and that's about it so far.  Just received my Hagon rear shock so that will go in this weekend.  Also had to repair the speedo drive that seized last weekend.  So far, a real hoot to ride and a nice addition to my small collection (1972 CL175, 1975 CT90, 1977 HD Sportster XLT, 1978 HD Sportster, 1979 CBX, 1989 GB500).

Paid $2850 but that included a good spare set of wheels, NEW (never opened) right crank cover, NEW left side starter cover, factory service manual and a never-used stainless BEET exhaust system.

Since your bike looks so damn good already, would you consider selling the exhaust and crank cover??  Grin

Thanks, but I'm going to hold on to everything I have for the time being.   I'm planning on trying the BEET exhaust as soon as I lay in a stock of pilot and main jets to allow for tuning the carbs to the exhaust.

Also, my current crank cover has a very small scuff on the bottom edge, which is why the PO bought the replacement cover.  But, the scuff is so small you don't notice it unless you're laying on the ground which is why he never installed the new cover.  I'm going to see about milling a solid aluminum cover using the new once as the template (I have a small lathe and mill).
