Met with Dave from Richmond, B.C. this afternoon in Lynden, WA and we took our CB-1's for a nice romp through the farm lands and foothills up towards Mount Baker.  Lovely, sunny day although it was a bit cloudy and cool up on the mountain.  Not much traffic on the roads which made for a very good ride.  Thoroughly enjoyed the ride in the company of another CB-1 enthusiast!  Round trip mileage for me was about 170, probably quite a bit more for Dave since he had a longer journey.  Great day to be out riding a great bike!

Eric

Great day for a ride and great roads to be riding on! Had a fantastic day out on the road and like Eric mentioned it was a lot of fun to finally ride with another member. Hopefully next time we can get a few more of the "locals" to join us. Probably close to 350km for me give or take a bit.

Here are some more pics.

BRAVO! BRAVO!!  Well done!  What a great place to ride!  I get enough snow here during the winters, but seeing it was pretty cool in the background!   Smiley

What we need to do is get more riders interested in a good ride and also get a support vehicle with lots of food and drink to meet at the Silver Lake campground.  Nice place with good restrooms and picnic tables overlooking the lake.  Could have a great ride and then relax and chow down amid fantastic scenery.  Would make a superb day's outing.

Hmm - I'm so sorry I missed this. Are you guys planning an end-of-season ride?
