My son's asked me to sell his CB-1, (my first one). They're not fetching much here and it's a bit rough round the edges so I might be breaking it. If I do, is anyone interested in anything?

DadMorti could use a sound seat fairing and tank, and is missing the little black plastic cover under the tank and the crankcase end cap / the whole clutch cover is rough.

Anything "interesting" on it?

I might well be interested in the forks for the right price. Possibly the front and side panels if they're not too rough!

All those bits are in good condition, not mint but no damage etc. I'll get it out of the lock up and take some pics next weekend. The pipe is a standard one, the end can has a small dent but also has a carbon cover so it's not seen. It's actualy the blue bike in my Avatar but that pic was taken when I bought it many moons ago.

The stantions are good and, if I remember right the seals are fine but some rust has built up on top of the seals and pushed the dust seals out a bit. Also, one leg is black, the other silver Cheesy

There are two new BT45s on it too but I may buy these for my CB-1, nothing that interesting though I'm afraid Morti. Apart form the black fork leg I got off you after breaking the original one, the bikes more or less as I bought it about 10 years ago. Nothing wrong with the engine at all, it's always ran well - seems to require a knack when starting cold but has never let me down, (apart from when the fuel pump packed up), makes no unusual noises and never burns a drop of oil. If anyone is interested in the motor they can see it running while it's still in the bike.

I need the meter gauges, rear brake assembly, spare side mirrors, spare mono shock, crash guard if you have, front fender, rear rotor disk, can take the front as well for spare, sets of turn signals, can take the headlight assembly as well for spare, rectifier and cdi for spare too, use my bike daily to work and is quite a workhorse, can't imagine a day without riding it, so these parts would be a great relief if i have them in my garage for spare and some will definitely be installed, thanks

No problem apart from the front fender,.... and I think there's only one mirror. I'll get some pics at the weekend and work out prices.

I could use the Left Side Tank Rubber (Honda EOM P/N 17517-KAF-000).  I've spent 19-months restoring the '89 model I picked up 2010-Jan, that was pretty much destroyed.  I've gotten some stock parts, some compatible parts off other models, but now I'm down to the point of putting back together.

I really want that left side rubber.

You've got it! I was wondering when someone would stake a claim on that.

Bikes up at the house now, I'll grab some pics when the GP lets up tmrw.
