seat cowls?

im in need of a seat cowl for my CB... unfortunately we bid on one on ebay but the seller took it off. I was hoping someone had a cowl lying around?

Don't you just hate it when that happens? I was watching something the other week but didn't bid because another one turned up cheaper. Then, low and behold, the seller pulled it! Nowadays, I get in touch with the seller and ask them to let me know if they intend to pull the auction. Ebay should put a stop to it whatever.

Do you have the link? AFAIK, Honda never made one, there was someone on here that made one a while back, maybe it was one of theirs. Or maybe it wasn't for a CB-1 at all and that's why the seller pulled it.

Ah..........hang on. You're talking about the tail piece.......I thought you were after a single seat cowl I have a new black one but wouldn't let it go for less than cost I'm afraid.

I havn't got that much Morti and most of the NOS is for my other CB-1. The thing about the new tail is that I'd be painting it anyway so could get by with a used one. I havn't been able to find hardly anything NOS recently, stock seems to be dwindling away in Japan 'Tell you something, there's a lovely stock exhaust up for auction at the moment for about £25, if only they split at the collector - post is a nightmare. I've got a nice new screen that I won't be needing anymore but it's got the handlebar fittings rather than bolting onto the headlamp.

               I've also got a CB-1 hybrid project in the pipeline that I'm excited about at the moment. I have to keep it under wraps untill i've found the donor bike.
