$2,400 should buy a near showroom condition bike. About six months ago just such a bike was sold (with a rifle as well) in Florida with an asking price of $1900. I realize that the CA and FL markets are not the same but I humbly suggest that you are still significantly overpriced for a bike that will require a fairly expensive bit of body and paint work to make it truly worth what you are asking.

Hi capitolatim,

You are lucky to live in the Bay Area, where bikes like these often fetch a premium.  With that said, I think you just need patience.  There was a CB-1 that sat on craigslist, that had higher mileage but better body condition for $2200, it was reposted weekly for 2-3 months before it sold.  I assume it sold.  I see you have already posted on CL, you may also want to post this on www.bayarearidersforum.com.

Thanks, just posted at BARF.  The reason I bought the bike was the excellent mechanical condition and the low miles.
