As posted in for sale, this is the generator end cover off a CB400-4 project the company who did it, charged £60 for material and machining and I had a one off payment for the cnc milling of, "WOTAN" this was part for time and also having my text converted into an auto cnc.

As mentioned the firm since then has been swallowed up by a bigger group, and therefore cannot get any work done for cash, as I need a lot more machined parts I will have to open a monthly account, I will vernier up the CB1 cover and next time I see Mick I'll ask him to quote a price.

What I'm thinking of,is  CB-1 like my Wotan with smaller 400 underneath............

OK, come the new year I am having some work done on some stainless flanges, by a new firm of engineers I found by chance.

Also does cash in hand work  Smiley so I'm looking at having cover made in either alloy or stainless, as this original plastic part gets totalled in a right hand spill, I was thinking of having the flat surface extended with a sacrificial easy replaceable part.

Any interest would bring down costs, and any thoughts would be good.

I bought a nylon sliding cover that protrudes out from the crank case it doesn't look gorgeous but neither does a cracked crank case and it costs a lot less. I can't remember who on here was selling them but they were from the states so I'm not sure how much competition you'd have but it's an idea for you.

Yeah my idea is to use either a ss or alloy outer ring with either a nylon/plastic derivative that would attach but be sacrificed in the case of a spill bit like a slider but obviously not as over protrusion  maybe 8 to 10 mm thicker than stock plastic one..
