It's prob the carbs need balancing but but does my engine feel grindy, gritchy.......just cleaned out pilot jets and tick over is 100% spot on, but engine still feels as above. Any ideas please ? could it be an oil blockage, how would i tell ?

Oil blockage would destroy or seize parts/engine, what can make a Honda  sound grumpiness is if the OI L hasn't been changed, within schedule, one I got had new oil change but within next 100 miles, for my piece of mind I will be going to change it, however I do not know  when the sump was dropped and the strainer and sump pan cleaned,so.

Drop oil but not change filter fill with flushing oil, 10 min at tick over and a few twists, drop oil, new filter and semi-synthetic oil, and until I drop sump at least I know I've done the best so far...........

cheers peace of mind is important, old reciepts show regular oil changes, perhaps it is just carb balance, tookit out before and roughness is around 3500 - 4500 revs at 6000 it starts to smooth out a bit, maybe i'm just not used to the bike and it needs a balance, will balance carbs tomorrow and see if it fixed it. (ps) inspected all jets today. 1 pilot jet seat was bunged and the mixture screws were wrong.......it ticks over so steady now, but rear axal nut is seized ho hum  Wink
