My valve stem was damaged, so I thought I'd head down to my friendly neighbourhood bike shop.

Heh, it was more along the lines of:

"OK. this rack is really solid and you're well padded with bubblewrap to keep you comfy and you're securely strapped down with seatbelt webbing.

"Now relax and don't make any sudden moves - we're going for a rip across town to see Paul and Simon!"

You'd be surprised at the loads that lovely old Trail 90 can handle!  It's my second favorite bike, ever!  Smiley

Had a few c 50,s 70,s 90,s with and without leg shields, here in the UK they are known affectionately as, "pogo sticks"due to the action of the forks, when front brake is applied................Geeze!!! I'm giving away my age now. Cheesy
