Sounds like fun.
For a coffee: there's a JJ Beans at 14th and Main St. that has great coffee and dedicated motorcycle parking too. Or maybe a run up the Sea to Sky for a coffee in Squamish? Or...?
I insure the CB-1 year-round and would love to get together for a ride.
Dave had mentioned the possibility of doing another Mt. Baker run and maybe Eric (Efreeman55) would be in?
Cheers,
Dan

I did that ride the first year it started. Those guys ride like maniacs....I must have averaged around 140kph up to Hope! The rest of the trip up to Hell's Gate is gorgeous on a nice day, but dress warm!! I froze my arse off in the morning. Can't make it this year as the wife and I will be in Kelowna.
Would be up for a meet and greet in town and/or a ride if we can all agree on a date and time.

Sounds good!
I might be going on the Candy Run, but am not committed yet. They've got different groups now for newbs; intermadiate; "quick-ish". There's a thread on bcsportbikes.com about it
HERE
BTW, any of you guys on BCSB?

Read through that thread earlier too. Have never bothered with that site much, don't really consider myself a "sportbike" rider.

Heh, I'm on there pretty regularly:
Grendel
is my UserID. And FWIW, I consider the CB-1 a naked sportbike.
BCSB isn't strictly a "sportbike" forum - there's loads of riders there on sport-touring, classics, sumo, etc. It's the most prominent Vancouver-region riders' forum AFAICT. Met a *lot* of great people through it too!
But back on topic: I *should* have my radiator back from the shop on Tuesday afternoon (dropped it off today) and am very open to any rides / meet-ups with local -1 riders anytime after that

The 6th is the Candy run, but I'm actually thinking about going to the demo rides at Honda Centre, Burnaby that day.
Another time perhaps?

I didn't know there was a Honda demo day at Honda Center that day too. I knew about the one at Holeshot on May 4th. There is also a BMW demo day on the 6th. Perhaps I'll join you at Honda Center on the 6th =P
