Can anyone with Hepco & Becker side racks help me measure the size of the "hoop" (length and width)?  Also, any pictures of the mounting points and how the rack looks in general on your bike would be much appreciated.

Hi Alex,

I don't have this -1 any more, but these pictures might help?

It was a full rack system cut down and re-mounted as a topcase carrier.

Very helpful indeed!

One question about the right side, hard to tell from the angle of the pictures, but how close to the muffler is it?  Seems like there's a possibility of burning the bottom of the right side bag.

These are the most ridiculously large boxes you can imagine, and there was no issue with heat.
