Believe it or not, I've met Dave Gilmour a couple of times...... and Syd Barrett, Although Syd wasn't in the best of health at the time. Cool

Apart from DSOTM and WYWH, (obviously), Ummagumma's probably my fave album.

Again at 10PM GMT on Monday the 17th on Radio 2. There is more Floyd, with the last interview with the late, "Richard Wright".

The fest on Radio 6 wasn't as it billed ..crap covers of Floyd tracks even sh*te rap crap of Money done by some crappers who made an album called, "Dub Side of the Moon" while the 2 prolific writers and lyricists, Roger (Syd) Barrett, and,(George) Roger Warters..were mainly ignored.

Playing that crap and not looking at Warters solo stuff was a travesty, "The Ballard of Bill Hubbard" is a very haunting track from Amused to Death, and, "Radio Waves"from Radio k a o s is crazy.................

All the radio 2 stuff should be available to listen and DL on BBC Iplayer. Must get it on my HD so I can listen to it in the motor. BTW, the bloke I work for bought Syds last ever painting at the auction held here in Cambridge shortly after his death. He's no art critic though and I havn't the heart to tell him it's totaly shite Cheesy

There's a band called, "Think Floyd" they have a gig at Cambridge in November, they are great at Floyd's numbers I first seen them, when there were only 3 now they are a 4 piece band, and well worth seeing I guarantee if you buy a ticket to see them and you don't think they are good at Floyd. I will pay your ticket price back to you.......... Smiley
