£15 posted, bought off here recently........my speedo cable end is a bit worn plus i couldn't be bothered to re-route my speedo cable (otherwise to me it seems to cause a sharp angle) that causes my worn cable to slip int he convertor.

So i have been assured by Morti that it works 100% i just got used to the KMH now ! also meant to de-restrict as the needle will read lower that when it was in KMH mode so should get 120mph instead of 112MPH before limiter kicks in.  Wink

If reading correct in MPH 100 is about the one o clock position, very much doubt if you'l see 120 on it unless needle been put back in wrong position.or good tailwind going down hill on a loooooooooooong straight....speedo may read 120 but you wont be doing 120........ under the speedo clock face there is a quadrant of black painted plastic this moves as speedo increases   there is an opto switch that reads the black of quadrant..........so no limiter, once the quadrant passes and opto switch can then pass light to it's receiver then 2 pots are intermittently cut,as now your in MPH the quadrant will get nowhere near passing end of opto switch so your limiter is endless.............mine's done and have had it up to 14,500  but you'l find if used like this MPG falls off the scale Sad

Hi, just quoting what i've read and been told, never tried it myself, but yes all speedo's are out about 5 -8 mph, but compared to the golden 112mph that this bike is meant to do, if the limiter is endless as you say when this is fitted then 120 and extra tiny 8mph doesn't seem far fetched to me. I was with a guy the other day on a GSXR 600 twice the horses and the CB1 was so easy to crank up to 90mph / 145 KMH equivilent (on a track day !) with bags of revs to spare. Unless mine is altered in some way it goes like sh*t off a shovel   Smiley the other riders i was with said boy that thing moves for a 400, i agree !

I have been told these blue things keep the limiter at bay, it is for sale for turning KMH to MPH.

I'd be happy to discuss this futher in another area, like tech, but this is the' for sale ' area

It does accelerate fast, helped by close ratio g/box but do      this............. 30 MPH=3,000 Rpm..........40MPH=4,000 Rpm  get to 70MPH and accelerate and you,l find the faster it wants to go the RPM level is higher, as already said laws of physic,s come in.........Drag, resistance, friction, among the top 3, at anything over the 100 MPH I find the wind resistance=drag like a brick wall, agreed its fast accelerating as mentioned, but its not a flat out bike, as mentioned my old 400-4 sohc wouldn't be able to keep up with it but  100+MPH on, i,d leave in the dust.

Also the amount of drift a speedo is out is proportional the higher it reads.

OOP'S this is for sale section, ima bad this should be in general or techs apologies all. Embarrassed
