Went out to pic my meds up,thought i'd give the bike a blow out, doc's less than a mile away so thought i'd give engine time to warm up by going one junction of M1 then back, (junc 40 to 39-39 to 40) and get some fish n chips for t on way back, left M1 at 39 got 3/4way round roundabout to get back  on M1, cars in front spinning off everywhere, then it was my turn both lanes were soaked in diesel, one indicator, front brake lever and mirror, clock mount broke, and rash on exhaust, lucky someone seen the wagon that had dumped it, and it belongs to a local haulage firm, so they gonna get a visit from me on monday the bas*tards. If you want your damages compensated in money rather than assault charges, it might be better to go to the copshop, report an accident, then claim on their insurance rather than "pay a visit".

So, the police will come looking for you first?

Really, it's not worth it.

Right, despite witness having rig number plate and trailer fleet number, bar stewards are claiming rig n trailer were nowhere near incident place at time...........police involved now, have to apply for a court order to obtain records of rigs movement against time, have to write to 3 regional centres for CCTV records, and gonna try and see if any other witnesses out there, if I get permission b4 Friday from the highways dept to put stake'd posters on in bound lane side of roundabout and, outer bound lane verge..........almost got arrested at depot to I was spitting nails so to speak............ Diesel is soooo deadly and it's usualy at a roundabout near a filling station. The idiots overfill then dump it when turning around the roundabout. I the roads wet, apart from the possible "rainbow" effect, you get no warning - the bike just drops from under you. If there's something behind you, they slam on their brakes and can slide into you too. Might be worth googling the "Diesel Kills" campaign, they might have some advice for you on how to proceed legaly. If you can't find them anywhere else, I've got all those bits.

yep, road was dry, I had already committed to the corner ie lean angle and point of exit to slip road, then I smelt a huge nose full of diesel, cars in front sliding then wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee  I used to ride all year, at least when you see snow and ice you ride accordingly, if road was wet, as you say I would have seen it b4 committing,  repaired clocks and new lever, just waiting for new indicators to arrive..
