Anyone know where I might find carb manifolds X 4 (carb to cylinder) for a CB1?  Dealer said that they have since been discontinued by Honda. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

That sounds ridiculous. That is a fairly major part.

I'll check with the parts supplier I use tomorrow. They are closed now. There are parts discontinued, but not important parts.

OK, I called the parts store I use http://www.hondaparts-direct.com/default.asp. They have very good prices.

I take it you are referring to the part that connects the carbs to the motor. Honda calls it an INSULATOR. They list two parts. One of them is discontinued and one is still available. The part that is still available is part number 16212-KAF-000. This will fit all four ports. I do not know why Honda lists two different parts, but I can tell you for sure that on my 1989 CB-1, all the carb INSULATORS are the same. The part costs $7.30.

I think you might find that there is a slight difference between what they call the "A" insulator and the "B" insulator. The small tabs on the rubber molding that hold the clamps in the correct position for tightening are in slightly different positions to allow for the clamps to be oriented for ease of access.

I am quite certain that they could be interchangable though maybe with a little trimming to allow the clamps to face the right way.

With so many bikes being broken down for parts on ebay I think that you may be able to find a complete set. If need be send a message to the sellers if they aren't listed for sale. You might get lucky but for the cost of new ones it might not be worth the hassle.
