Hi all! Just wanted to show pix of my girl. She was in such a desperate need of attention when i got her. Took me lots of time and money to clean her up and bring out her beauty, which all -1's have.
Cheers

yup, i sure did! To be honest, i've managed to get almost all my right hand nails in bad shape due to the different cleaning agents i used to polish her up.(Now i wear plastic gloves when cleaning her)
I used a traditional engine degreaser (Diluted in water) in wiping and brushing off (old toothbrush)oil stains, road grime and other sediments in every nook and crany of the bike. Hardest was the engine area, but with a lot of love and patience, you'll see good result. When i was satisfied with the engine area being clean, i used a high temp paint to touch up portins that have chipped paint. After every ride, i just make sure i clean and polish her up before i cover her up again.
I guess it's just a matter of liking and loving the sight of keeping my bike clean and have friends and even strangers praise and appreciate how great she looks. :)and i'm sure alot of bike owners feel the same!
