Hi guys,
Just got a CB1 recently and it came with the vortext clip on.I think the previous owner didn't route the cable right so the throttle is a little sticky. Meaning when I rev it up, it won't retract, it'll stay rev up. Any idea on how I should re-route it? Any of you guys with the vortext clipons please throw me some inputs or picture of how yours are routed. Thanks

check the free play in your throttle cables and try to adjust the cables with the adjusters. Also, you might try lubing the cables and see if that works. If the cable hoses are really tight it's a good bet they are too short, but trying to make them work won't cost you Smiley

The slightest bend in the bar will make your throttle stick... they are very soft aluminum and bend easily... take the bar out and roll it on a flat surface...if its wobbly they are only like $15 on ebay...

Does your bike have Mad Max advertisement on it somewhere?
