Choke cable has broke so I'm trying to get a replacement, but it turns out that cb-1 choke cables are now extinct. But upon inspection of a mates 1994 CBR600F, it has the exact same choke mechanism but I do not know for sure if the cable will fit the CB-1. Anyone have any suggestions?

don't know if you can use one from another model, but I'm quite sure you can get one made to fit at your local bike shop, maybe even bicycle gear can work for that.

At the end of the cable there is a screw lock nut that as far as i can remember you could move up or down the cable making it as long or short as you need it? maybe someone else can clarify this

yes, you can adjust the position of the the cable sleeve. But that will leave you a few cm to play with at most. A cable that is a bit too long should be no problem at all!

So in that case a super four cable should work as it will be longer to allow for the riser handle bars

Just ordered a cbr600 choke cable.  Just a matter of whether or not it will fit. I didn't think of researching on the Super Four but I will do perhaps. Thanks guys!
