Curious on the tire brand and type you are using?
Currently I am using the Michelin Pilot Power under their Super Sport class of tires. When I go through this set, I am going to try their Pilot Power Race tire. Soft up front and medium compound for the rear.
Also, I have a set of wheels that uses an 18" for the rear. There is only one tire from Michelin that would fit and was curious if anyone has used this tire in the 17" version. It is in their Sport Touring category and named the Pilot Road tire. it has a killer looking tread design. You can see it at
