You may also need a computer to operate the fuel injectors. Correct?

yea ill need a computer but i can use one from any junked bike i just have to reprogram it.  i want to figure out if i can use a throttle body from a 600 that is already injected because it would come with all the injectors and censors which would make everything a lot easier but i doubt everything will match up nicely.

I think you would need a programming god to take the maps for a 600cc motor and engineer for a completly different motor.
