haha anytime = )
i can't wait to get my cb1 running then on the track.
mine is basically stock with a showa rear shock and kerker exhaust.
you have anything you recommend changing on it to make it more sporty ? or track oriented ? clip ons ?

Here are a few things you may want to change...
Steel braided brake lines front and rear
Heavier oil and stiffer springs in the forks (stock front end is too soft for the track)
Vortex clip-ons
Steering damper
150/60 rear tire
What do you mean regarding "showa rear shock"? Is it the stock shock or one from a different bike?

my bike had a salvage title, the previous guy downed it pretty badly i think. when he rebuilt it he rewelded some new tabs where the upper shock mounts and all i can read off the shock is showa... i don't know any of the specifics on it.
thanks for the other pointers though, I'll start collecting parts.

Awsome pics!! New lid, nice. You look steady as a rock in those turns! And, can I see you whistling some happy tune? If not, you should be!! 'cause that looks like a ton o' fun!

I was just about to comment on the lid. Exo-1000? I've got a 700 and I love it.

Slevin,
Regarding your rear shock, does it have a hose coming off of the shock to a resevior? If it does not, and the shock has a blue spring on it, then its probably the stock shock. It is also made by Showa.
ABullock91,
Yes the helmet is an EXO-1000. I really like it! Lighter than the HJC I had. Much more comfortable, and the price was nice!
oldsmoker,
You have NO IDEA how much FUN a CB-1 is on a track! If anyone reading this has a CB-1, I STRONGLY suggest, at least once, attending a track day! Its a BLAST!!! Even in stock trim, you would have an awesome time! Keep it in the powerband, above 10 grand and you meet its evil twin! Above 10 grand, its altered ego shows itself and YOU WIILL LIKE IT! LOL Its like that innocent looking woman from across the bar that you meet and really enjoy talking to. You think to yourself, hmmm, she probably wouldnt be much fun in the sack. But you decide to give it a shot anyway, after a few Long Island Ice Teas! Then, afterwards, you are looking at her and thinking, DAYYUM, you are cute AND "naughty as hell!" Make you want a cigarette and you dont even smoke!!! LOL
And thats stock! Now imagine my "gal". Black patent leather high heel pumps, (DOT race tires), sexy red dress, (Body work), nice and tight fitness shaped body, (modified suspension, more horsepower, upgraded brakes)... OH MOMMA!!! Whip me, beat me, make me write bad checks!!!
Its nice to know that having that much fun is legal and very good for your mental health!!!
