Can i count?

the cb i own was owned by a mix and matcher b4 me. it has a hornet tail end, different headlight and a belly pan. engine wise the exhaust and carbs have had treatment.

 but the question i ask is does all cb1s have 6 gears?!

I've been told no, but why does mine? is it possible the gear box is out of a cbr400 gull arm? That is the only explanation i can think of!

Ive counted a few times and its definatly 6!

Mine is a US model '89. It has 6 gears standard. I haven't heard of any CB-1 having anything BUT 6 gears......

I wish mine had 7, but its a NA model w/ 6.
