Probably ebay is your best bet.

cdi unit

reg/rect used although I would hesitate to get a used one as it is fairly common to have a problem with the older non-finned type.

reg/rect new

reg/rect new These guys also sell a combination of reg/rect and stator for $169 new which is a good price if you think you need both.

where can i find a wiring diagram for this bike? i have a doubt that my bike has been shorted. i have seen that my bike's regulator is way different from the original ones and the regulator has no socket with it. TIA

Some have used Yamaha R6 regulators or others. I am sure that many others would work. Email sent with wiring diag as well as here.

If you're still looking, I can help you with both. I've also got a spare wiring loom.
