Definitely one of the nicest CB-1's I have seen. Thanks for posting the direct links.
What size is the rear tire?

thanks guys. btw, the sprinkler is actually a barbell weight.
rear wheel is 5.5" wide with a 170 tire. much too big but i couldnt pass up the deal. probably should have waited for something closer to stock size but it was a great package deal.

Very cool bike. The fork and swingarm upgrades look very cleanly installed and are cool, but to my eye some of those components look too heavy and massive for this small machine and don't seem in alignment with the overall intent of the bike.
In other words, wouldn't do it on my bike, but looks very cool on yours!

fair enough. i hesitate to call anything ive done to it "upgrades". just changes i made to it to keep me interested.
the forks are the same diameter as stock, just now with two brakes. the wheels are larger, but theyre magnesium. and the rear, being single sided design, has much less material to it than a standard wheel. both wheels are far lighter than stock. the swingarm im sure is heavier but at the same time it came from a hawk gt, a bike whose power and size is almost identical to a cb-1.
so i agree, the wheels and tires are overkill but hey, it is a frankenstein of hondas the best i could get it together and im ultimately pleased with how it turned out. i hope you dont do it to yours as having the only one around is one of the things that makes it so great!

Don't get me wrong - your bike is very cool, both for its uniqueness and for how nicely installed the new componentry is. I'm certain too that there are functional and weight advantages as well. It is just an overall 'look' thing that I'm referencing - how the look and proportion of the bike balances from front to middle to back.
You certainly have something unique and fun and I don't mean to demean it at all. Enjoy!

no worries, i welcome any and all comments good or bad. theres always some that dont agree with what ive done and thats to be expected. if i were to critique my own bike after its rebuild id say the rear swingarm is about two inches too long and the wheels/tires are too big. but these are not that bothersome to me and id still do it again

the seat is stock, just removed the passenger grab strap to let the solo tail mount flush to the seat.
the tailsection is a cut down nsr250 piece. it is an aftermarket fiberglass piece that was further modified to accept the factory nsr taillight.
i used a taillight integrater to allow the dual rear light to act as the brake, tail light, and turnsignals. these can only be used on a tail light with two bulbs.

IMO, I don't think the rear goes well together with the look of the rest of the bike at all.
Why change the look of a bike thats so rare? Keep it different than other bikes.
