after talking with a member on here about some carbon fiber parts for a different bike, i got to thinking... maybe i should pull some molds of the CB-1 side covers front and rear. would anyone be interested in these beauty covers made in carbon?

I'd like the front tire fender, gas tank and rear cowling in carbon fibre, how much would it cost to have all the pieces (the painted pieces) redone in carbon fiber?

blueracer89, in a nutshell, anything that can be molded from plastic, ie fenders tail cowls ect, can be molded from carbon. i'll send ya a private message with some prices.

I definitley like what I see here.

I am currently thinking that instead of returning my project CB-1 to the street, that I would make it a track bike instead. Track days, not racing. Carbon parts would be fun!

Things looking good.  Grin

How much interest have you had?  It will be a few more weeks before I get my bike to the new house and see what will really need replacing… I know I will at least need a new front fender, and from what I have seen they are hard to come by.  Any ideas on what your pricing is going to be like?

Thanks,
Susan
