This might have already been discussed, but have any of you tried or made replacement cowls out of carbon fiber? I know there's been talks of tanks and engine covers in carbon fiber, but I've yet to see anything about the cowls.

the stock CB-1 cowl? sure, it can be done, just need a good undamaged one to pull a mold from. never made one for mine cause we use RS250 tail sections on the race bikes.
