First impressions are that it doesn't look too bad, I've certainly seen a lot worse. If the seat has survived it might save you a few bucks, they're a bit hard to find. Is that a dent in the tank? What are you going to do with that? I'm guesssing your bro didn't think about draining the carbs when he left the bike - very few people do unfourtunately. Keep us informed on it's progress.

NO, i do not think he did much more than get it in the barn out of the weather... LOL  at least he did that much.. Smiley
She use to be his baby… but he got a gf, and house…  and other priorities popped up if you know what I mean.. He told me actually the main reason he stopped riding is cuz of tickets…  going to fast, not having a Motorcycle License… that sort of stuff…

As for the seat, it is OK, but it will need a little re-stapling on the left side…  Kinda figured that would be one of the easier fixes…
 thanks Susan

Dallas eh, Welcome! Another local Cb-1, cool, the ods of that in this forum are fairly slim. I live in Ft. Worth, just south of the airport (360 & airport fwy). Im new here too, I just bought a cb-1 that had sat for 7 years in a garage. Shes running now, still needs some odds and ends to because ridable. The gas tank looks good in the pic, but needs a new clear coat, its all flaking off....anyway welcome!!
