Is this a good rear tire?

My tires are currently Bridgestone Battlax BT-45 Sport Touring tires and i am going to need a new rear tire soon.  Is this a good tire to stick with since my front one is still in good condition? It seemed to get good reviews http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/28/396/6013/ITEM/Bridgestone-Battlax-BT-45-Sport-Touring-Rear-Tire.aspx.  Im just starting out on a motorcycle so i'm not doing any hard core turns or anything like that.

Yes I'd stick with the Battleaxe's....I had them on mine until recently they were great in both wet & dry conditions......I got some Dunlop Rideens cheap and fitted them as the sidewalls on mine were perished ....The Dunlops ain't as god tho'.....

ANy more input on this specific tire?  Also, i noticed a lot of the sport bike tires start at 150/17.  Would i have any issues going to a 150?  Is going to a 150 better than sticking with the 140?

A 150/60 size rear tire will fit with no problems.  Its shorter and wider/fatter than the 140.  I race with the 150 and its great!  I have Pirellis on the race bike and I love them!
