Hi...

Thanks for that,
I think red is the best colour!....Photos flatter it a little, but it's certainly not it the 'dog-rough' category!!....More a rolling restoration....as it needs a little paint on the front mudguard & seat cowl....I want a bike I can use rather than polish!
The front end is from the 400 Superfour.....And with the way I ride it the second disc is a welcome addition!.... Shocked

Hmmm... The way you ride it...  By no means am I trying to start anything, Im just a big advocate, that there is a time and place for everything.  I race my CB-1. Have been doing so for 5 yrs.  About every time I have been on the track, and that includes track days, I have lowered my personal best lap time.  There have been track days when I have lapped faster than guys on much larger bikes. My advantage is handling and brakes.  I still have the single disk up front, and with steel braided lines, it continues to blow my mind, as to how strong that single disk is!
If you are riding that hard, that you need duals up front, and on the street, dude be careful.  The streets are just not the place to ride that hard.  I know of too many guys that have gone down on the streets, because its such an uncontrollable environment.  If you really want to "use" your bike, then prep it and take it to a track.  You will have way more fun!! Hi.....No offence taken, firstly I prefer the look of twin discs.
Secondly I'm very careful where I use the 'performance'...I've been bike riding since 1978 (accident free) and my last bike was a 900 Hornet!....So when I ride the CB-1 I do tend to 'use it'....but not round town....too many blind/deaf idiots!

The CB-1... I find is the type of bike that begs you to get the best of it &  I certainly don't miss my Hornet as a result....

Hi, thanks for that....

The clocks were on the bike when I got it, they are off the Superfour....That made my mind up to fit the entire Superfour front end!

The higher handlebars give my aching wrists & back some relief over the standard set-up!

Heres another pic.....

 Embarrassed
